Although it is the smallest of the Ivy Leagues, Dartmouth College consistently ranks among the world’s greatest academic institutions. Its learners have the opportunity to study in 46 faculty-led off-campus programs in 25 countries. Dartmouth’s motto—“a voice crying out in the wilderness”—is indicative of its location. Students take part in the country’s oldest and largest collegiate outing club and explore the Appalachian Trail that runs through campus, hike and stay in a nearby cabin, ski on the mountains, or paddleboard on the Connecticut River.
