Laurence Moskowitz is an award-winning communications executive and entrepreneur best known for his contributions to broadcast public relations, crisis communications, issues management and strategic corporate communications. Larry is the Co-Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Lumentus, a strategic communications and digital rep management firm. He is also CEO of the agency’s proprietary technology, Lightbox Search. A communications pioneer, Larry has leveraged emerging technologies throughout his career to provide business and professional communicators with more powerful and effective means of reaching their audiences. Prior to Lumentus, he founded Medialink Worldwide, considered to be one of the largest contributors of broadcast public relations services. Larry has lectured on public relations and online media at New York University, the BBC in London and Denmark Television in Copenhagen, NewsXchange in Barcelona and numerous professional groups around the world.
Larry founded Lumentus after recognizing that technology and client service needs were changing how PR, marketing, and advertising firms must operate.
Prior to Lumentus, Larry founded Medialink, then the world’s largest provider of video-based media communications services to Fortune 500 companies.
As Chairman and CEO of Medialink, he forged strategic alliances with the Associated Press and Nielsen to create the first professional distribution network.
Medialink, which he took public, won hundreds of public relations industry awards, and was successfully merged into a successor company in 2009.
He founded Teletrax with Philips Electronics to digitally track usage of video by broadcasters globally on behalf of ABC, NBC, CBS, APTV, Reuters.
Larry had previously founded a forerunner to PR Newswire and started his career as a reporter and editor.
He directs the overall strategic communications efforts of Protect our Power.
He is an award-winning executive internationally recognized for innovation in corporate and public affairs professionals with the news media.
