Scott Page is the John Seely Brown Distinguished University Professor of Complexity, Social Science and Management at University of Michigan and a member of the Science Board at the Santa Fe Institute. His research has focused primarily on the value of cognitive diversity in complex systems, the potential for collective intelligence, and the design of institutions for a complex world. Page has published widely on a variety of topics across the social sciences. He is the author of more than one hundred research papers in numerous fields, including game theory, economics, political theory, sociology, psychology, philosophy, computer science, management, and many more. Previously, he has been a Professor of Economics at CalTech and The University of Iowa. He has also appeared before numerous corporate and nonprofit audiences around the world.
