Osmania University
Osmania University is one of the oldest universities in southern India and among the leading universities in the country. It was named after its founder, Nawab Osman Ali Khan, a patron of education. The university offers 25 undergraduate courses, 75 Master’s and 27 PhDs. About 70 acres of the Osmania’s campus are covered by gardens and 1000 acres have been planted with trees. The university also has its own deer park with over 200 deer.
