Sofia University
Sofia University is the first school of higher education in Bulgaria. It has since become one of the most highly-rated universities in the country, known for its training, scientific research, and social and humanitarian studies in particular. It maintains agreements with more than 80 overseas institutions and has a large number of students involved in foreign exchanges compared to other universities in the country.
- SU boasts the biggest academic library in the country, with access to more than two and a half million titles.
- Courses are usually taught in Bulgarian, but language courses are available for international students.
- Master’s programs are often available in English, and occasionally French, German, Italian, and Russian.
