Since its establishment in 1887, Troy University has evolved from a training school for teachers into a public, international university. It offers more than 45 undergraduate majors and locations across the globe, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea, with an enrollment exceeding 18,000 students. Today, Troy continues to train teachers for local and regional K-12 schools but has expanded to encompass numerous fields of study and academic scholarship.

Outside of class, students can perfect their strokes at the Trojan Oaks Golf Practice Course, a 9-hole course, or cheer on the Trojans, the school’s 15 NCAA Division I teams.
