Charu Fernando

Charu Fernando is Chairwoman and Chief Investment Officer at Edgbaston Investment Partners, an institutionally oriented investment management firm headquartered in London. She has more than 35 years of experience in the financial industry and has been managing institutional assets since 1987. Prior to establishing Edgbaston in 2008, Fernando spent over 21 years at Pyrford International, where she was appointed the Head of Asian Equities in 1993. She has practiced a value-based investment philosophy in the Asian region for over three decades.
