Hamid Moghadam is the Chairman and CEO of Prologis, a global logistics real estate investment trust and S&P 100 company. In 1983, he co-founded the company's predecessor, AMB Property Corporation, and led it through its initial public offering in 1997, as well as its merger with Prologis in 2011. Today, he is responsible for shaping the Prologis’ vision, strategy, organizational structure and strategic capital franchise. Hamid is a business executive and has held a number of leadership roles within the real estate industry. He has been named CEO of the Year and received multiple lifetime achievement awards from leading publications and industry organizations. He has also served on various philanthropic and community boards in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 2011, Hamid orchestrated the merger between AMB and ProLogis to create Prologis, the largest real estate company in the world.
He has been a Board Member since the company's inception and serves on the Board's Executive Committee.
Prologis, which is ranked in the top 100 S&P companies, is the global leader in logistics real estate, serving thousands of customers with a 1.2 billion square feet portfolio in 20 countries.

He was also Chairman of NAREIT and REITPAC, and a member of several other philanthropic, community, and corporate boards.

PHILANTHROPY
Hamid served on the boards of Town School for Boys, the California Academy of Sciences, and the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
He was Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization's Northern California Chapter.
He and his wife also established the Moghadam Family Professorship in the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
He started the Stanford Hamid and Christina Moghadam Program in Iranian Studies focused on undergraduate courses related to Iran.
