James Wood

Dr. James Wood is an international senior leadership consultant and coach at FranklinCovey, a global consulting and training leader. He helps apply specific actions and practices for realizing leadership and performance greatness. Dr. Wood has over 25 years of diverse leadership experience in project management, software development, engineering, operations, and manufacturing organizations, having held leadership positions ranging from first-line supervisor to executive-level roles. He has extensive experience in developing leaders and teams ranging from one-on-one leadership coaching to large organization-wide team and leadership transformation initiatives. Dr. Wood has been an adjunct professor at six universities, teaching undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in business. A professional keynote speaker and facilitator, he has spoken on issues of leadership trust, project management, and leadership greatness. He is a co-author of the book Project Management for the Unofficial Project Manager.
