Mike Dudas is the Founder and Managing Partner of 6th Man Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on Web3, cryptocurrency applications, and blockchain infrastructure. A longtime operator and investor, Dudas primarily backs Seed and Series A companies building foundational technologies across crypto, Web3, fintech, payments, gaming, and esports. He is also a driving force behind LinksDAO, a decentralized community that aims to reimagine the traditional country club model through collective ownership and digital-native governance. Previously, Dudas served as Vice President and Head of Stablecoin Business Development at Paxos, where he focused on expanding the company’s white-label stablecoin and infrastructure offerings. He was also a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Block, a leading media, research, and information platform covering the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem, which became a widely trusted resource for investors, builders, and institutions. Mike Dudas has built a diverse career across technology, finance, media, and digital commerce, with leadership roles at some of the most influential companies in their respective sectors.
Under his leadership, The Block became one of the most widely read sources of cryptocurrency news, research, and market analysis, helping professionalize crypto journalism and data-driven reporting during a critical period of industry growth.
Prior to The Block, Dudas was part of the team at Braintree and Venmo, where he helped scale the business to approximately $12 billion in total payments volume and $4 billion in mobile payments volume annually
Earlier in his career, Dudas worked at Google, where he contributed to the development of the company’s commerce and payments initiatives across online, offline, and mobile channels.
He also gained experience in corporate M&A strategy and strategic planning at The Walt Disney Company, further strengthening his foundation in large-scale business operations.
