Steve Cody is the Founder and CEO of Peppercomm, an award-winning strategic, integrated communications and marketing firm. In his role, Steve is responsible for implementing strategy and counseling clients to leading business development, and bringing new products and services to market. He recently led the introduction of a unique humor-based storytelling training to the market that can be applied to address any organization’s internal or external challenges and is aimed at helping employees use humor to increase productivity and find joy in the workplace. In addition, he publishes Repman, a daily blog, and has appeared on CNBC, MSNBC, NPR, and a host of other media over the years. Passionate about his community, Steve has raised more than $100,000 for countless charities, from hosting stand-up comedy shows.

  • At Peppercomm, Steve is responsible for driving everything from thought leadership and new service offerings to crisis counseling and workplace culture.

  • Steve is passionate about mentoring students, guest lecturing at universities, and helping fellow mid-life marketing communications professionals.

  • He is the co-author of “What’s keeping your customers up at night?”, which has put thousands of readers to sleep over the years.

  • Prior to founding Peppercomm, he was President of Brouillard Communications, a hybrid between a management consulting firm and a traditional agency.

  • He also served as Executive Vice President of Earle Palmer Brown and Vice President of Hill & Knowlton.

  • He has been named one of Northeastern University's 100 Most Successful Alumni in 2012.

  • He also volunteers for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Man of the Year" campaign.
