Tim Beiko is Protocol Support for the Ethereum Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. Tim is one of the most prominent figures in the Ethereum Foundation, serving as the coordinator for Ethereum's protocol developers and knowledgeable of all the complexities and latest development of the world’s most active blockchain. He has been working on Ethereum full-time since 2018. Prior to joining the Ethereum Foundation, he was Senior Product Manager at ConsenSys, the leading Ethereum blockchain software company. Today, Tim is interested in product, machine learning, and blockchain. He played a pivotal and outsized role helping orchestrate The Merge, Ethereum's switch from PoW to PoS system. In addition, he runs the core protocol meetings for Ethereum and writes about the protocol's upgrades to share the Ethereum roadmap with the broader community.
