Valeria Benitez Florez
Valeria Benitez Florez is Co-Founder and Design & Experience Lead at Pocket Network, a decentralized infrastructure that uses cost-efficient economics to coordinate and distribute data and scale. Pocket Network is a software startup building a universal, decentralized API protocol for blockchains. In her role, Valeria leads the brand development and user experience across web properties, as well as any pocket applications, developed in-house. She also manages the creation and usage of brand assets across media channels to ensure a consistent and high-quality feel for the Pocket Network ecosystem. Prior to co-founding Pocket Network, she worked as a Designer for RChain Cooperative and EcoBike Limited where she designed different UX concepts from scratch and worked on the completed update of the UI-UX design.
EARLY CAREER
Valeria worked as an Industrial Engineer for RnR Associates where she worked in different stages of the complete product development.
She has experience creating conceptualizations of various product designs using Adobe Photoshop designed logos.
She was a UI Designer for TimeSet where she created rapid prototyping and wireframing for development teams.
