Consumer Confidence Reports

Abbreviation
CCR
A Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual water quality report done by community water systems that provides information on your local drinking water quality, or any risks associated with water contaminants. The EPA requires most public water suppliers to provide CCRs to determine their water quality report, providing Americans information about their local drinking water quality. A centerpiece of the right-to-know provisions in the 1996 Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act, a CCR contains a brief summary of the risk of contamination of the local drinking water source, water system information, source of water, and other required educational information.
