Stock State Indicator

Abbreviation
SSI
The Stock State Indicator (SSI) is a comprehensive indicator designed to tell investors the health of a stock in a quick glance. Indicating the life-cycle health of each stock, it tells you where the stock stands relative to TradeSmith’s proprietary algorithms with a re-entry feature. Based on this indicator, you may consider whether you wish to continue to buy, hold, or sell a particular stock. It provides simple green, yellow, red light indicators to help you understand the technical condition of a stock. The green indicator tells you the stock is performing well, has not corrected below its recent high and is still on an uptrend. The yellow indicator tells you that the position has corrected somewhat below a recent high. It has not yet hit its stop price. It isn’t trending upwards nor downwards. The red indicator tells you that the stock has corrected more than its VQ% below a recent high.
