ABOUT ARWEAVE
Founded in 2017 as Archain, the company changed its name to Arweave in 2018 while completing the Techstars Berlin mentorship program.
After raising $8.7 million through token sales, Arweave launched its mainnet in June 2018. In 2019, we launched the permaweb, a permanent serverless web built on top of the Arweave.
Similar to Bitcoin, it operates on an open ledger system. The protocol is stable, mature, and widely adopted, making the ecosystem fully decentralized.
