Bennington College
Bennington College reinvented the visual arts canon by being the first liberal arts college to include visual and performing arts as part of a liberal education. The school gives its students the chance to design their own course of study and requires them to participate in an annual six-week program known as “Field Work Term,” where they may pursue internships, volunteer, or work on entrepreneurial projects.
