Energy Transitions Commission
The Energy Transitions Commission is a global confederation of leaders from across the energy landscape working together to advance the transition to a zero-emissions future. The thinktank develops transition roadmaps and tools, building on robust analysis and extensive exchanges with experts and practitioners across energy-intensive value chains. It provides decisionmakers with insights and options for action at the local and/or sector level.
- The ETC was convened to help identify pathways for change in our energy systems to ensure both better growth and a better climate.
- It aims to accelerate change towards low-carbon energy systems that enable robust economic development and limit the rise in global temperature to well below 2 degrees Celsius.
