Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta also referred to as the Atlanta Fed, supports the US financial system as one of its central banks. In addition to supporting the US financials, Atlanta Fed also carries out the supervision and regulation of the banks operating within the sixth district, a source of research and expertise for public and private decision makers within the district. Atlanta Fed also monitors financial risks and promotes consumer protection and community development through consumer-focused supervision and examination, research and analysis of emerging consumer issues and trends, community economic development activities, and the administration of consumer laws and regulations.
