FiveThirtyEight uses statistical analysis to tell compelling stories about elections, politics, sports, science, and economics. The site was recently acquired by ESPN and will be expanding its coverage to include topics such as culture and technology, among others. In 2012, FiveThirtyEight predicted the election outcome in all 50 states. The company has made founder Nate Silver the public face of statistical analysis and political forecasting.
