Franklin & Marshall is a residential liberal arts college with a stellar academic program. It provides students of high promise and diverse backgrounds with a cooperative learning environment, where professors inspire students to go beyond their expectations. Since 2011, F&M has offered only need-based aid, and it aims to meet all demonstrated need of its students. With more than 100 student clubs, undergraduates stay involved, and 39% of students are in Greek life.

The campus is known for its inherently unique Harry Potter-esque living situation in which all first-year students are assigned to one of five college houses: Bonchek, Brooks, Weis, New and Ware. In each college house, students live together, share meals and plan and attend events.
