Macalester College is a private liberal arts college with a strong focus on multiculturalism and international integration. Students can choose from nearly 40 majors and over 800 courses. The most popular courses include social sciences, literature, biological and biomedical sciences, linguistics, and psychology. Macalester is home to about 100 student organizations and hosts several annual events.
