Delavan

The City of Delavan is in Walworth County in the state of Wisconsin, with a population of over 8,000 people. Known for its beautiful alkes, parks and unique history, Delavan features a historic brick street, becoming a Walldogs community with 19 murals depicting the city’s history. The city also offers boating and fishing lakes such as the Majestic Oaks at Lake Lawn Resort and Delbrook Golf Club, and park systems with extensive hiking trails, including Terrace Park, Veterans Memorial Park and Robert H Miller Park. Delavan’s events include the Delavan Train Show in March, Cinco de Mayo in May, Heritage Fest in August, and Scarecrow Fest in September.The city offers tourists with city attractions such as East Troy Electric Railroad Museum, Spinning Top Museum, Rock Cut State Park, and Big Foot Beach State Park.
