Byron Gill is the Founder and Managing Partner of Indus Capital Partner, a hedge fund company based in New York City. He is responsible for managing the firm's Pan-Asia Long/Short Strategy. Gill has been analyzing and investing in Asian equities for more than 20 years. Before Indus Capital, Gill headed Soros Fund Management's Tokyo office. He was also a research analyst following Japanese retailers and consumer goods companies at Salomon Smith Barney in Japan and at SBC Warburg in Japan.
