Ed Makin

Ed Makin is the Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer, and Portfolio Manager at Highclere International Investors, a long-only international small and mid cap equity investment boutique. At Highclere, he is responsible for the consistent implementation of the philosophy and process across all of Highclere’s investment strategies. Makin has over 35 years of experience in investing in international equity markets, more than 20 of which have been dedicated to international small and mid-cap investing. Prior to Highclere, he spent five years at Morgan Stanley in London before joining Wellington Management in Boston in 1994.
