Frank Audia is Group Managing Partner and Chief Risk Officer of Plante Moran. He is responsible for leading the firm’s tax practice as part of its seven-person management team. Prior to his current role, Audia led Plante Moran’s government practice. Throughout his more than 30-year career within the firm, he has been in charge of various corporate audits, reviews, and compilations; completed countless consulting engagements; managed IRS audits on behalf of corporations and individuals; served as an expert witness; and assisted with merger and acquisition transactions.

  • Audia received the William A. Paton Award for the highest grade on the CPA exam in the state of Michigan
  • He is passionate about supporting the accounting profession, having served on the MICPA’s Legislative Committee and chairing its Political Action Committee
