Garry Tan is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Initialized Capital, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Prior to this, he advised and funded more than 700 companies and founders as a Partner at Y Combinator. He also created Posterous, a blogging platform acquired by Twitter in 2012. Before that, Tan was employee #10 at Palantir Technologies, where he co-founded the engineering team for the firm's quant finance analysis product. He also designed the current Palantir logo and wordmark.
