Hendrik Riehmer is a prominent figure in German banking and Managing Partner at Berenberg, one of the oldest banks in the world and one of Europe's leading privately-owned banks. He heads the units Wealth and Asset Management, Corporate Banking, Human Resources, International Audit, Legal and Treasury within the bank.
Hendrik joined Berenberg in 1990 in the bank's Capital Markets Unit. In 2001, he was appointed Head of Investment Banking.
He later expanded the unit achieving its current importance and market position.
In 2005 he became a member of the extended management board, in 2007 Partner, and in 2009 Managing Partner.
