Howard Hoffen
Howard Hoffen is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Metalmark Capital, an independent private equity firm based in New York City. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in 1985 and joined Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in 1986 where he rose to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Hoffen oversaw the private equity businesses of Morgan Stanley, including Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, Venture Partners, and Global Emerging Markets. Today, he serves on the boards of private companies in various industries, including healthcare, energy, industrials, and agribusiness.
