Hugh Frater is the Chief Executive Officer of Fannie Mae, a leading source of mortgage financing and reliable housing information. He is responsible for setting the overall vision and strategic direction of the company. Prior to this, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, a commercial real estate company headquartered in New York. Earlier in his career, Frater served as Executive Vice President of PNC Financial Services, where he led the real estate division. He was also the Founding Partner of BlackRock.
