Jeff Kauffman is the Founder and CEO of Parachute, a Web3 platform for brands and agencies. Parachute builds and invests in Web3 solutions for marketers and advertisers. Jeff also founded JUMP, a Discord community for marketers who want to leverage NFTs and DAOs. He works at the intersection of digital strategy, social media strategy, paid media, and public relations. For 15 years, Jeff focused on Web1 and Web2 brand building, where his clients ranged from GameStop to Dr. Pepper to Chick-fil-A. Previously, he was the Founder and Managing Group Head of Business and Product Innovation at The Richards Group, where he was responsible for creating new products, services, and lines of business within emerging media and technology. In addition to directing paid social media for The Richards Group, he also planned all media for The Salvation Army and Rice Select.
EARLY CAREER
At The Richards Group, Jeff led social media strategy and planning, analytics and reporting, and digital tracking technologies.
He had experience in direct consultation, internal training sessions, as well as documentation for strategy and planning research.
He was a Social Media Manager for Skydive Dallas, responsible for direct social media strategy for one of the largest skydiving facilities in the country.
He was an Adjunct Professor for University of North Texas where he taught Advertising Media Strategy.
He was also a Digital Media Supervisor for Click Here, where his team developed an award winning Summer Olympics campaign for Fruit of the Loom.
