Jess Sloss is an Instigator at Seed Club, a social token incubator backed by leaders in the crypto and creator economy space. Before Seed Club, Sloss co-founded Blimp, a collaboration space for real estate professionals. He also served as Community Relations Manager for Protos Asset Management, a leading provider of systematic crypto.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Sloss helped launch one of the first security tokens and founded a cryptocurrency startup at the height of the crypto bubble.
  • As an Orbit Product Strategist, he led the exploration of blockchain-based incentive mechanisms to fund open research and knowledge creation. This work resulted in the creation of the Ultraviolet Protocol, a proof of concept for decentralized collaborative research.

  • Sloss has appeared as a guest on Real Vision.
  • He was the Director of Digital Media for The Feldman Agency, a music booking and management company where he led the digital launch of Parallel 49 Agency.
  • He has consulted on digital initiatives for Feldman clients, including Sarah Mclaughlin, Diana Krall, Hedley, and Mother Mother.
  • He played an integral role in launching Shane Koyczan’s To This Day Project, a poetry video that reached over 10 million views on YouTube. Koyczan then secured an invitation to speak on the main stage of TED just 3 days after launch.

    • Sloss spends his free time teaching at various institutions throughout the Lower Mainland and traveling extensively.
    • His most memorable adventure involved a tuk-tuk and 3,500 kilometers of Indonesian backroads.
