Joey Krug is a Partner at Founders Fund, the venture capital firm founded by Peter Thiel. He focuses on defining the next decade of the fund's crypto strategy while also looking for the next wave of generational crypto startups and founders to back. Krug has made his name as one of the youngest, most innovative crypto builders. Previously, he was Co-Chief Investment Officer at Pantera Capital, one of the largest blockchain-focused investment firms. During his tenure at Pantera, he invested in the first institutional rounds of companies like Starkware, Arbitrum, and Alchemy. Prior to Pantera, he built a sound-based point-of-sale payment system.
