Joshua Kushner is a tech entrepreneur and investor, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Thrive Capital, a venture capital firm that has backed some of the decade's most notable startups. A successful businessman and visionary leader, he has made significant contributions in the tech industry. Joshua is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at Oscar Health, one of the most technologically disruptive forces in InsurTech. Under his guidance, Oscar Health has been recognized as one of the most innovative companies in healthcare. He is also a minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies NBA team. This year, Joshua made his debut on the Forbes 400 list at age 38, earning the distinction of being the youngest newcomer on the list. He started his career in the Merchant Banking Division of Private Equity at Goldman Sachs.
Thrive was valued at $5.3 billion in a $175 million funding round in January 2023; Kushner's stake is estimated to be worth around $3.5 billion.

FAMILY AND CONTROVERSY
Despite the political theatre surrounding his family, Joshua has managed to carve out his own niche in the business world.
His father, Charles Kushner, built a real estate empire before serving time in prison for illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion and witness tampering. He was pardoned by Trump in 2020.
His older brother Jared Kushner, is the son-in-law and senior advisor of former President Trump.
