Luca Cosentino is Vice President of Crypto at Cross River, a fast-growing financial institution that incorporates cutting-edge technology into traditional banking services. In his role, Luca builds the technology that enables fintech players to offer crypto-based products to their users. He aims to close the gap between the 2.5B people who access retail banking services digitally and the 250M crypto users. Throughout his career, Luca has constantly analyzed present and future trends to develop intuitions, and developed expertise in product, go-to-market, data, and engineering, both at large companies and startups. Prior to joining Cross River, he was Lead Product Manager at Oasis Labs, where he created the first scalable and privacy-preserving smart contract platform. At Oasis Labs, he created the infrastructure for privacy-preserving applications with a focus on fintech, and the fully decentralized Network he developed is now live in mainnet. Luca also built, launched, and managed products at Google, PayPal, AmEx, and P&G.

  • He joined Oasis Labs as the first non-software engineer and helped a 35-person startup, raising $45M from a16z, Accel, Foundation, etc.

  • At Paypal, he built a new feature that serves consumer core products such as Paypal, Venmo, and Working Capital.

  • At Google, he led product insights and analyzed people's research behavior and trends, mapping consumer journeys.

  • At P&G, he owned the expansion of Oral-B power 600, and worked on both corporate strategy and field sales.

  • He founded Berkeley StEP, a pre-accelerator that helps students get together and launch companies.

  • His professional skills include product management, go-to-market, analytics, team development, and product vision.
