Luca Cosentino is the Head of Crypto and Digital Assets at Cross River, a leading financial technology infrastructure provider powering the future of digital banking, payments, and embedded finance. In this role, he leads Cross River’s strategy and execution across crypto, blockchain, and digital asset initiatives, helping bridge traditional financial services with next-generation financial technologies. Cosentino brings deep expertise in product management, go-to-market strategy, data, and engineering, with experience spanning both global enterprises and high-growth startups. Prior to joining Cross River, he served as Lead Product Manager at Oasis Labs, where he played a central role in building the first scalable, privacy-preserving smart contract platform, now live on mainnet and fully decentralized. Earlier in his career, Cosentino built, launched, and scaled innovative products at Google, PayPal, American Express, and Procter & Gamble, giving him a rare blend of consumer, enterprise, and financial services experience. In addition to his role at Cross River, Cosentino is an angel investor and advisor to emerging technology companies.

Prior to his current role as Head of Crypto and Digital Assets, Luca Cosentino served as Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Cross River, where he led the firm’s end-to-end product strategy and execution across banking, payments, and lending platforms.
In this capacity, he managed a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 product managers, designers, and support specialists, driving innovation across Cross River’s core financial infrastructure.
During his tenure as CPO, Cosentino played a pivotal role in launching the first regulated crypto offering by a U.S. bank, seamlessly integrating digital asset capabilities with existing money movement and payment systems.
EARLY CAREER & EXPERTISE
Cosentino joined Oasis Labs as the company’s first non-software engineer, helping scale the startup to a 35-person team and supporting its successful $45 million fundraising from leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Accel, and Foundation Capital.
His work contributed to the development of a privacy-first, scalable blockchain platform focused on secure smart contracts and decentralized applications.
Earlier in his career, Cosentino held product leadership roles at PayPal, where he built features supporting core consumer products such as PayPal, Venmo, and PayPal Working Capital, and at Google, where he led product insights initiatives analyzing user behavior, search trends, and consumer journeys at scale.
At Procter & Gamble, he managed the expansion of Oral-B Power 600, working across corporate strategy and field sales to drive growth.
In addition to his corporate experience, Cosentino is the Founder of Berkeley StEP, a pre-accelerator program designed to help students collaborate, launch startups, and develop entrepreneurial skills.
