Mark Chalmers is the President and CEO of Energy Fuels, the country's largest producer of uranium and the leading conventional producer of vanadium. Since joining Energy Fuel in 2016, he has overseen the company’s conventional and ISR operations, focusing on production optimization, resource growth, and obtaining new sources of revenue for the Company including alternate feed materials and land clean-up work. Previously, he was the Executive General Manager of Production for Paladin Energy Ltd. where he successfully managed the Langer Heinrich (Namibia) and Kayelekera mines (Malawi) and achieved significant increases in production levels while reducing operating costs. Chalmers has a wealth of experience in mining and mineral processing and has consulted several key industry leaders in the uranium supply sector, including BHP, Rio Tinto, and Marubeni.

EARLY CAREER
Chalmers was the Executive General Manager of Production for Paladin Energy, where he successfully managed the Langer Heinrich (Namibia) and Kayelekera mines (Malawi).
He also achieved significant increases in production levels while reducing operating costs for Paladin.
He is an expert in in situ recovery (ISR) uranium production, having managed both the Beverley Uranium Mine owned by General Atomics (Australia) and the Highland mine owned by Cameco Corporation (USA).
