Mick McGuire

Mick McGuire is the Founder and Managing Partner of Marcato Capital Management. Prior to his, McGuire is a partner of Pershing Square Capital Management. In this previous role, he is one of five senior professionals responsible for managing approximately $6 billion in investor capital. McGuire also has experience in the corporate boardroom. When he was only 32, he was appointed as a director for Borders Group. Eventually, he became the youngest ever non-executive chairman of the book and music retailer. McGuire is also known as one of the biggest activist investors today.
