Milind Mehere is the Founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Yieldstreet, a digital wealth management platform focused on income generating alternative investments. Under his leadership, Yieldstreet became one of the more prominent fintech companies in the alternative investing space, raising significant venture capital and expanding its offerings across private credit, real estate, and other alternative asset classes. Mehere is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor with a track record of building and scaling technology driven businesses. Milind Mehere founded Yieldstreet in 2015 with the mission of expanding access to alternative investments.
The platform focuses on income generating opportunities across private credit, real estate, art finance, legal finance, and structured products, aiming to provide individual investors with exposure to private markets traditionally reserved for institutions and ultra high net worth investors.
As CEO for nine years, Mehere led Yieldstreet’s growth into one of the largest direct to consumer alternative investment platforms in the United States, achieving unicorn status.
Under his leadership, the company positioned itself as a next generation digital investment platform focused on modern portfolio construction and private market access.
Yieldstreet has received multiple industry recognitions. In 2020, it was named the 12th Fastest Growing Company in the United States by the Financial Times.
In 2019, it ranked 14th on the Inc 5000 list, was named the number one fastest growing company in New York, and ranked number one in Financial Services.

Before founding Yieldstreet, Mehere co-founded Yodle, an advertising technology platform serving small and medium sized businesses.
He helped scale the company from inception to approximately $200 million in annual revenue, with more than 1,400 employees and hundreds of thousands of small business customers.
Yodle was ranked four times on the Inc 500 list and was acquired by Web.com for $342 million in 2016.
Mehere was also named an Innovation Fellow at Columbia University’s Lang Center for Entrepreneurship.
