EARLY CARERER
Prior to launching Chaos Labs in late 2021, Goldberg established a distinguished engineering track record within tier-one technology companies and elite academic research environments, specializing in product speed, system architecture, and optimization data pipelines.
Goldberg served as a software engineer and technical lead within Facebook's internet.org division. In this role, he engineered native mobile streaming clients and partner-facing analytics dashboards for emerging international markets, architecting an ad-based internet connectivity model across countries including India, Kenya, South Africa, and Ghana.
Goldberg worked as a Tech Lead at Instagram, where he focused on developing the mobile experience for Commerce Ads. His technical oversight targeted mobile feed architectures, Stories layout processing, ad rendering speeds, and transaction flows to optimize consumer conversion metrics.
He also served as a Tech Lead for MIT's Operations Research Center. He collaborated with researchers to build an online personalized learning platform for EdX, developing automated, data-driven learning engines that supported over 100,000 concurrent students enrolled in The Analytics Edge massive open online course (MOOC).
