Ric McConkey is the President and Chief Executive Officer of FMeX, a firm providing access to media properties to help financial professionals better target their audience. In his role, he oversees the creation, development, and operations of FMeX platform and related applications that are vertically aligned for advisors, broker-dealers, and financial media brands. Ric brings a unique blend of over 40 years of sales distribution, marketing, and technology experience as a serial entrepreneur in financial services, technology and media ventures. During a ten-year period on Wall Street, he held senior sales and marketing positions with Goldman Sachs, Quest for Value Distributors and Oppenheimer Capital. Prior to FMeX, he was a Managing Partner at RSW Advertising, a premier media, information and marketing services company, where he oversaw the company's strategic direction and spearheaded new and innovative opportunities for the company's growth. Previously he led Lateral Group’s North America practice, a fully owned subsidiary of DST Systems.
At FMeX, Ric offers access to hundreds of thousands of pieces of content that is seamlessly integrated within any organization's existing infrastructure.
He was responsible for Lateral’s integrated communication platform and technology framework that combines consulting, data, and creative services.
As Founder and Principal Architect of Capital Fulfillment Group, he was responsible for the design and development of tech-based solutions.
He was the principal figure in the development and deployment of several new Internet solutions for the financial services industry including NETSales, reQUEST, and NETInvestor.
Prior to developing the Interlink's ASP Model, he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for SalesLink, Corp. a wholly owned subsidiary of CMGI.
He also served as a Group Manager for the Boston Financial Data Services.
