Richard Bloxam is Chief Executive Officer of Capital Markets at JLL, a leading professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management. Richard takes overall responsibility for how the firm helps investors and real estate owners develop and execute investment strategies ranging from the transaction of individual assets and portfolios to investment banking and corporate finance services. His primary ambition is to help investors optimize their exposure to real estate through innovative investment models, world class investment advice and the creative application of technology. Since joining JLL in 1994, Richard has worked across the capital markets business, and has specialized in supporting international investors pursuing opportunities outside their domestic markets. During the last decade, Richard has focussed on broadening JLL’s capital markets business to offer bespoke financial advice in addition to the firm’s strengths in advising clients in the acquisition and sale of real estate assets.

Richard has held leadership roles across Europe. He also has work experience in Poland, Hungary and Austria, where he focused on the retail sector.
He aims to help investors optimize their exposure to real estate, look beyond traditional investment models, and offer world class real estate financing advice.
Over the last two decades, he has worked with the biggest and most active investors in the world to develop their real estate investment strategies.
He is a regular contributor to industry debate through media and speaking engagement, and is open to discussions with investors, partners and interested parties.
He has studied at Stanford Graduate School of Business (senior executive program 2017), the University of Exeter and London South Bank University.

Richard oversees all investment transactions, investment banking and corporate finance services globally.
He is a member of the JLL Global Executive Board, and the sponsor for the firm's Hotel & Hospitality, Valuations and Research activities.
Prior to his current responsibilities, he was Head of the EMEA Capital Markets and member of the EMEA Management Board.
In 2008, Richard took up responsibility for capital markets across EMEA and joined the EMEA Management Board in 2014.
