Sandy began her career at Lehman Brothers, where she built economic models for commodities like cocoa, coffee and sugar.
She held positions with Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Commodities Corporations, managing portfolios focused on soft Commodities.
She then consulted and led the strategy practice within the financial services division of Scient, a capital markets niche management consulting firm.
She was a Program Manager at JP Morgan, where she led a major change initiative covering both sell-side and buy-side portfolio management.
