Shane Brunette is the Founder and CEO of CryptoTaxCalculator, one of the most advanced and accurate cryptocurrency tax software in Australia. Under his leadership, CryptoTaxCalculator revolutionized the way individuals and businesses manage their crypto taxes by working closely with accountants and tax lawyers to make it easy for fellow crypto users to be tax compliant. Shane has been in the cryptocurrency space since 2016. Prior to co-launching CTC, Shane was a Senior Software Engineer at Kindred Group, where they helped develop a multi-tenancy architecture for the global booking platform. Before that, he was a freelance software engineer and helped early-stage startups scope, design, and build MVPs. He also co-founded TutorHunt, an online marketplace for academic tutoring.

Shane was a Senior Software Engineer at Woolworths Group, where he developed critical APIs for the No.1 grocery delivery app in Australia during Covid.
He started his career at Dell as a Senior Account Manager, where they managed Australia's largest enterprise accounts.
At Dell, his clientele included the Australian Stock Exchange, Leighton Holdings, and Woolworths.
