Sundar became Google's CEO in 2015 and joined the Board of Directors of Alphabet, Google's parent company, in 2017.
In 2019, in addition to his role as CEO of Google, Sundar became the CEO of Google’s parent company, Alphabet.
He oversaw the company's reorganization in 2015, which resulted in the creation of Alphabet Inc. as Google's parent company.

EARLY CAREER IN GOOGLE
Sundar joined Google in 2004 and helped lead the development of Google Toolbar and Google Chrome, which grew to become one of the world's most popular internet browsers.
He was also largely responsible for the product management and development of Google Drive. He went on to oversee the development of Gmail and Google Maps.
In 2014, he led the product and engineering for all of Google's products and platforms, including popular products such as Search, Maps, Play, Android, Chrome, Gmail and Google App.
