Tommy Stadlen is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Giant Ventures, a global venture capital firm investing in purpose-driven technology founders. Before launching Giant Ventures, he co-founded and served as CEO of Swing, an imaging technology company acquired by Microsoft in 2017. He was also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Tailwind Group, which took three companies public on the NYSE with a combined market capitalization exceeding $1 billion. Earlier in his career, Stadlen worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising leading corporations and governments worldwide, and contributed to former President Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. He is the co-author of the international bestseller Connect and is a frequent commentator on technology and sustainability in global broadcast and print media.

EARLY CAREER
Stadlen was a Venture Partner for firstminute capital, a $300 million seed fund backed by130 unicorn founders.
He was the Product Lead of Swing Technologies, a tech company acquired by Microsoft which created the #1 app on Apple's App Store.
He integrated Swing Technologies into Microsoft and led product leadership across the company's consumer offerings.
As Co-Founder and Chairman of Tailwind, he served on the public company boards and led fundraisers with the world's largest institutional investors, from Fidelity to Blackrock.
He also served as a Climate Policy Advisor for the David Miliband Campaign and Obama for America.
