Tushar Jain is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Multicoin Capital, a thesis-driven investment firm that invests in cryptocurrencies, tokens, and blockchain technology. Tushar launched Multicoin in 2017 with Kyle Samani, and has grown its hedge fund and venture businesses to one of the largest in the space. As Managing Partner, he leads the firm’s portfolio construction, risk management, and manages the team. He is passionate about the new economic paradigm enabled by blockchain technology and focuses on decentralized financial products, token economics, and blockchain go-to-market strategies. Prior to founding Multicoin, Tushar co-founded ePatientFinder, now Elligo Health Research, a healthcare IT company that leverages data science to identify eligible patients for clinical trials.
Multicoin Capital has become one of the largest and most established crypto-focused investment firms in the world.
Under his leadership, the firm reported to investors that its first hedge fund's assets increased by 20,287 percent since its inception in 2017.
In May 2021, Multicoin raised $100 million for its second venture capital fund, and in October 2021, the firm announced raising $250 million for its third fund.

As Co-Founder and COO, he led the development of the technology platform, data science processes and managed the day-to-day operations of the company.
He also helped raise over $11M in venture capital and grew the company to 25 employees, with over 2 million patients, and hundreds of clients nationwide before eventually being acquired by Elligo Health Research in May 2018.
