Mountain View is one of only three cities in the entire state of California with an AAA credit rating. This accreditation is granted upon cities having a solid and diversified tax base, a very strong financial operation, and a low debt burden. The city is most famous for being home to Google headquarters, Googleplex. Each Sunday, Mountain View hosts one of the best-certified farmers' markets in the Bay Area. The market features 70 local growers and food vendors selling seasonal and organic produce, freshly prepared food, and homemade goods.
