Andrew Feldstein is a seasoned investor and financial executive best known as the Co-Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of BlueMountain Capital Management, which he co-founded in 2003. Under his leadership, BlueMountain grew into a diversified alternative investment manager overseeing more than $20 billion in assets under management at its peak. In 2019, the firm was acquired by Assured Guaranty for $160 million after experiencing significant challenges the prior year. Before launching BlueMountain, Feldstein spent a decade at J.P. Morgan, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Head of Structured Credit, Head of High Yield Sales, Trading, and Research, and Head of Global Credit Portfolio. After retiring from a distinguished 30-year career in financial markets, Feldstein continues to shape the industry through board service. He is currently the Lead Outside Director of PNC Financial Services and a Member of the Harvard Law School Dean's Advisory Board.

Andrew Feldstein’s BlueMountain Capital Management made headlines in 2012 when the fund earned $300 million by betting against his former employer, J.P. Morgan Chase, during the infamous London Whale credit securities scandal.
At its peak, BlueMountain managed $19 billion in assets, but in 2019 Feldstein sold the firm to Assured Guaranty for $160 million.
As part of the deal, BlueMountain secured a $500 million investment into its funds, $90 million in working capital, and Feldstein personally received $22.5 million in Assured stock.
