Ben Tisch is President and CEO of Loews Corporation, a well-established diversified holding company with businesses in the insurance, energy, hospitality and packaging industries. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, responsible for formulating the company’s view on intrinsic value, developing and implementing capital allocation strategies and monitoring our insurance subsidiary, CNA. Previously, Tisch was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, where he was responsible for managing a variety of asset classes for the Global Macro Fund, including international fixed income, international equities, and U.S./European credit instruments. He began his career with a two-year investment program at Lehman Brothers.

LOEWS CORPORATION

  • Tisch joined Loews in 2011 as a member of the company's investment department. He recently  became the third generation of his family to run Loews Corporation.

  • He was promoted to Vice President in 2014 and tasked with helping lead Loews's corporate development function, while also focusing on strategic planning and investments

  • He later served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy,  responsible for monitoring the performance of both CNA Financial and Altium Packaging.

  •  In April of 2021, Tisch led the Loews team in the sale of 47% of Altium to GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund.
