Brad Stephens is the Founder and Managing Partner of Blockchain Capital, the first venture capital fund to invest exclusively in the blockchain technology sector. Since launching Blockchain Capital in 2013, Brad has become one of the most established and active venture capital investors in the blockchain technology industry. His diverse background in domestic and international finance includes sell-side securities analysis, hedge fund management, venture capital, and family office management. Prior to Blockchain Capital, he served as Managing Partner of Stephens Investment Management, a family hedge fund that deals with diversified investment strategies that go beyond the crypto realm. Together with his brother Bart Stephens, they invented and pioneered "nanocap" investing, a venture capital style in the public markets focused on sub micro-cap equities. Before that, he worked as the Senior Analyst at Fidelity Ventures, the venture capital arm of Fidelity Investments.

Brad started his career as a Research Analyst at Furman Selz, a company acquired by ING Barings.
At Furman Selz, he co-founded their Internet Research Group and co-authored the first financial industry piece on Internet Security.
He served as a Research Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, specializing in internet, security and internet infrastructure software.
While at CSFB, he helped raise over $1.3 billion for companies under coverage.
At Fidelity Investments, Brad focused on the areas of Internet Security and New Media, and also founded Fidelity’s Biometric Consortium, a cutting-edge collaboration of all Fidelity’s business units.
